I'd recommend openSuSE 11 ( http://en.opensuse.org/ ); you'd prolly pick Ubuntu. But isn't it better to find something more to love about your OS each day than more headaches? Yeah I'm a Linux fan girl have been since I was 13yrs old(circa 1994). Just an idea, &you can always go back. Though I can imagine why you'd ever want to. If you do decide to 'make the switch' than feel free to contact me &I can help you adjust w/whatever it is you feel you'll miss. Video editing, graphic design, or whatever. You can do it on Linux.
