Hahahaha! That is *exactly* where I am, Dave! How funny. My husband had me pose outside as soon as we got checked out and were heading to our car. We're total nerds.

After all my worrying about the Windows Mobile-to-iPhone switch (would there be software that works for me? will I be able to be productive enough on it? will I hate the keyboard?) the switch was surprisingly easy, and I don't think I'll be looking back at all. It really is the best phone I have ever owned.

What a kick, I think I recognize the setting for your picture. You're outside the AT&T store at Northpark Mall, right? Notable only because, as you know, I'm not local to Dallas. I stood in that same place and had a lengthy and confusing conversation with AT&T customer support on release day.

I'm glad the iPhone is working out for you, and with only the single false start. My iPhone is my #1 gadget and it's rarely out of arm's reach. That it's a phone is almost incidental; I use it more like a tiny computer I can have with me all the time. And I also have made the move from a hardware keyboard (Treo) to the soft keyboard of the iPhone. I think I'm faster on the iPhone than I ever was on the Treo.

Great write up of the phone. I can not wait until November when my Sprint contract expires. I believe I have my wife convinced that is ok for me to get the iPhone, and then when her contract expires she can move to AT&T as well.
