Scrobble from the iPhone – without a jailbreak!

One of the main reasons I wanted to jailbreak my iPhone was to be able to scrobble the tracks I played on my iPod to my last.fm account.  I really love last.fm, both for the radio features and just to have a history of what I’ve been listening to.  I like to track my habits, “love” certain songs in last.fm to remember them, and discover new music by playing artist stations (in a similar manner to how I use Pandora).  …

CompUSA rises from the dead (is it a zombie?!)

So, apparently Dallas-originated CompUSA filed for bankruptcy and closed their stores only to return as a sister company to Tiger Direct.  They’re rolling out slowly, but one has landed practically in my suburban backyard (better known as the eastern border town of Plano, according to Kurt Loder).  They’re adopting a “retail 2.0″ mindset, which apparently includes full Internet access on every single computer in the store.  Take THAT, Worst Buy!  Do you think they’re taking a page from the Apple …

Watch the BCS Championship in 3D!

First we had the holograms on CNN during the live Election Night coverage, and now we have the BCS (Bull Crap System, if you live in my house) Championship Game coming to a theater near you in live, glorious 3D thanks to Sony, Fox Sports, 3ality Digital, and Cinedigm.
