I think I’ve made it pretty clear recently that Instagram is one of my favorite iPhone apps. Apparently the people over at Photojojo, one of my must-read photography sites, love it too! They posted a great list today of 10 new Instagram-related apps and sites that you can use to make your Instagram experience that much more awesome. Go check it out!

Apps in Action: Instagram and PostalPix
So, I have a confession to make. I am addicted to my iPhone camera. My husband and I have gotten really into Lomography and the toy camera movement. I’m the proud owner of a Holga 35mm and a brand new limited edition Diana F+, while he sports a SuperSampler and a Holga 120. He prefers Hipstamatic for his faux toy camera prints; but while I like Hipstamatic, I am completely hooked on Instagram. Instagram is a great little free app …

My Daily Tech: iPad
When the iPad first came out, I thought it was an amazing device–but I felt like I had no reason to buy it. I knew I would be getting the iPhone 4 and I had my Dell Mini 9 to keep me company on the couch or to take with me for mobile writing sessions. Sure, the battery life wasn’t great, and it wasn’t the slimmest setup around, but I could always tether myself to an outlet and carry a …

My Daily Tech: iPhone 4
2010 was a year of transition for me–new job, new focus, and most importantly, new technology. I’ve been busy upgrading my toys since last we met, and I’d like to share my current daily drivers and tell a little bit about how I’m using them. I will begin with the gadget that rarely ever leaves my side, let alone my hand. In August of 2010, it was time to upgrade from my much beloved iPhone 3G. It was on its …

Girly Tech – Win a Hana Flat Iron from Missiko @ ByHillary!
My favorite fashion blogger Hillary is doing a giveaway on her blog, byhillary.com, for a fancy pants Hana Flat Iron courtesy of Missiko. It may not seem like a gadget to most, but a good flat iron is something every curly haired gal needs in her tech arsenal. They are pretty awesome these days–adjustable temperature, ceramic plates, and other cool features that help you get your hair as straight as possible. I hope that fate intervenes and picks me as …

How To: Boxee Beta on the Apple TV
DISCLAIMERS: 1) This post is over a year out of date at this point (as of 3/23/11). 2) You are fully responsible for what you do with your gadgets, including if you mess things up following my directions! Good luck. I’ve been waxing poetic on my Twitterstream about my Apple TV’s new lease on life, thanks to the Boxee Beta and a few related hacks. A few friends have asked what exactly I did, so I thought I’d put the …

Boxee Update: Bug Found and Destroyed
About a month ago I posted about having trouble with Boxee after I upgraded to the latest rolled out version. I was unable to play files that it had played before with ease–it kept crashing the software and rebooting my Apple TV. I received a great comment to my Boxee post from a guy named Tom, who worked with Boxee (pretty obvious from the @boxee.tv email address!), but I didn’t realize right away that Tom was the co-founder! Bad software …
